It seems there is a misalignment between grids and origin. How can I fix that?

share the design.  It is impossible to tell from just an image.  Is that the global origin, or a component origin.  Is that the Layout Grid, or a sketch grid?

It is a global origin. The design is attached.

Thanks

Opened your file, and created the exact same view, the grid is aligned as far as I can see.  Refresh your design by either Compute All command or save, close and reopen it.

same for me.  The grid looks aligned to the origin OK.  I was looking at the Layout Grid.

Hi @jeff_strater @jhackney1972 thanks for replys.

Here is my screen record

https://autode.sk/35vLubq

I have to magnify it quite a lot to see the misalignment.

It actually causes lines that cannot snap together so I think the issue exists.

I am able to align the grids to the origin using adapted grids but this is not I want.

UPDATE:

It looks like there are only 2 files out of a few in the same project affacted. So it shouldnt be a globle setting issue or software issue.

I think it might be related to an auto-update yesterday. Everything was ok before the date.

I am trying to reinstall fusion360

uninstall fusion using the official cleaning tools. Deleted all local files and cache.

But it still not help. I think I have to make another project for it.

Have a search around, I found another person has met the same issue.

There is no solution for the post

I toggle the visability of sketches, found that the offset grids are related to some of the sketchs.

I doubt that any update is related.  This area of Fusion has not changed in years.  Can you share one of the designs that is showing bad behavior?  Your video shows that this is only an issue with adaptive grids.  So, for now, I'd recommend fixed grid.

Hi @jeff_strater

The attached file is the one associate with the screen record of this

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/community/screencast/7108298c-db1f-4203-a01b-a2fa7799ec66

As long as I show some of the sketches, the origin move.

I do like to use fixed grids so this confused me. Because the adepter grids just fine but fixed grids have offsets.

very strange.  I am unable to reproduce this mis-alignment:

That is why I believe all your and other's trials are totally correct.

But the issue still there even I open the uploaded file instead of opening it from my project cloud. It might be related to my local environment.

This is my version and platform.

@jeff_strater , I too see that when I open the Model, grid is not Visible. But as soon as I try to create a Sketch, the grid shows up..

Thanks and Regards,

@rushabhthakkar_910 - there are two grids in Fusion:  There is the "Layout Grid" that appears outside of sketch.  This is available at all times.  There is also the "Sketch Grid", which only shows up when you are in sketch mode.  I believe that this thread is discussing only the Layout Grid.
