I searched but can't find anything recent and the option to 'delete group and expand contents' is no longer an option.

I want to add the last sketch to the group right before it

I don't see a group in your design.  As far as I know Delete and Expand is still functioning properly for timeline groups.  Would be interested in seeing such a case if you have one.  Thanks.

Thank you, but how do you add an item to a group once it's already formed?

@razoredgekniveS click on the plus sign and he'll open it
Just start your new campaign. it is not necessary to pack everything into one group. remember that each group can have a name that you assign to it.

Thank you but I would still like to know how to undo a group once it is made, there definitely should be a way to do it

Attached is a Screencast of the process you are looking for.  Probably why you did not see it earlier is because you must chose to "Delete" the group, to the see the options, to add to it.

it seems to work for me:

In fact, the first model that you shared looks like you had done exactly that.

Unfortunately, there is no great way to edit a group at the end.  What is needed is an edit mode.  However... if you are OK not inserting at the end, just roll  back into the group and add features - they will just get absorbed into the group. (a group is really just a start feature + end feature reference).  I sometimes will put a dummy feature there (a workplane I never consume) just to let me do that.  Yeah, it's ugly...

John you nailed it, thank you! For some reason I tried that but it didn't work the last time. Glad it is now!
