not scaling in Cura

Hello everyone.  I've been playing around with F360 for a while.  I've created some things and was able to 3d print no problem.  Ran into this problem tonight......

I started a design with a picture of the droid rifle I wanted to make.  I then calibrated the size with the picture.  I created the rifle but after cutting up the pieces, they are very tiny in Cura.  I went back and double checked I had calibrated the picture, which I did.  I used Cura 4.0 and 3.6 but tiny in both.

Any ideas to fix the sizing?  Thankx!!

This will almost certainly boil down to a Units issue (which you did not mention).

Q1. What Units are you using?  Inches? mm? Other?

Q2. Can you File>Export and then Attach your *.f3d file here?

I am going to guess that you are using Inch units and 1 inch is being converted to 1mm.

What happens if you temporarily set your Units to mm and write out another stl file?

You are correct, I was in inches.  I changed my default to mm and re-exported to stl.  Still showed up tiny.  Here is the f3d.  (hope I did it right)

And.... thank you for helping

No, don't change the default units - change the document units. This part is huge. You must have a very big printerDocument Units.png

Thank you so much for the fix.  I've made multiple things in the past and have not had this happen before.  As for the model itself, if you look under bodies, I've cut it down to many pieces.  🙂

Again, thank you!

...and what are the file Units?

You didn't have any trouble as the Units are mm.

Are there any issues highlighted in the Timeline?
