Help with a tricky spline shape (impeller blades)

I'm studying turbopumps, and I've been trying to recreate some in Fusion. I've attached the reference image I'm currently working from. As you can see, the blades start vertical and end horizontal-ish near the top. I'm pretty inexperienced with splines and complex shapes like this (and kind of a beginner to CAD in general), so I really had no idea where to start.

My initial thought was that the basic shape is two curves: a bottom one that runs up the inner casing, and a top one that runs up the top while extending over the bottom one. However, I couldn't find a way to achieve this. I'm fairly certain I should be using splines and I've got a feeling that I need to use the sweep tool, but I just can't seem to find a way to make this shape.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I've attached a screenshot of where I'm at right now - the casing is done and I have a 2d outline for the bottom curve and an attempt at the top curve.

@g-andresen thanks for posting these. They explain to a degree why so many people never learn proper techniques or when and where to use which tool.

Lars tutorial is good. bu the the first one is horrible. People that work with traditional CAD in my experience are totally lost when it comes to working with T-Splines. You should never use a triangle in a T-Spline.
