Hi Everyone,

I am quite new at Fusion360 so might be obvious. I have imported a complex sketch from a .dxf file but when i try to extrude it I cannot select it. I have zoomed in as much as possible and I cant see any gaps? Since looking arround for a solution I think the white dots mean it is not complete but when i zoom in fully I am not able to see the ends to link?

If its not blue shaded, it's open somewhere. Add bisecting sketch lines everywhere to see where the gap is.

Hi,

window select white dots > constraint > coincident

or

share the file

File > export > save as f3d on local drive > attach to post

Hi,

This is a known problem with Fusion that .dxf files do not import well at times.

Can you export the actual model to the post and we can look at it and try to help you.

If the shape you want to extrude is not blue then it is broken somewhere.

Cheers

Thanks for the help: this did the trick:

window select white dots > constraint > coincident
