Sheet metal flange problem/error.

Hi, Can anyone point out to me what causes this to happen when using the flange tool on a sheet metal component?

As you can see in the attached image fusion is adding extra material to the base of the outside radius of the bend. And giving me an error code stating that the flange will intersect the component etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have been struggling with this for a few days and cant seem to find a resolution.

@benCV2DN

Hi, welcome to the forum.

I've moved your post here so that it gets more visibility, since it seems more design related than a system issue.  Good luck.

After loading your project, I don't see the issue. (Image attached)LRD - FTG v1.png

If you have a look at the screenshot I attached to the post, you will see the problem I'm having is when trying to put a flange on the edge to the right of your image (where I have cut some bend reliefs).

I did have a short try to see if I could assist but to no avail in the time available. I would comment though the timeline indicates a rather tortuous path to where you are at present and I for one would look closely at the multitudinous Delete face commands....or prudently with the outcome now clear to you perhaps start afresh?
