Noobie help with a boat shape

Hey all!

I'm trying to create a boat.  Specifically a sailboat.  Basic shape, no mast or anything on top.

I have a vector I drew in illustrator as a top view.  I can extrude it, but the sides are straight down and the bottom is the same size.

How can I taper the sides AND curve them like a boat?

I'm not trying to be hyper realistic, it's for a CNC project.

Thanks

Use section drawings and loft between them.  There are quite a few threads here on modeling boats.

While that can work, as a newbie you should stay miles away from importing anything and start modeling with the tools in Fusion.

If you can post an image of the desired shape and share your design so far, we can provide better feedback.
