Hello all.

That´s it : http://a360.co/1MkLlav

Why I am not able to save as STL from right Click to Bodies?

Other Models I have Made where no Problem.

Thanks for any advice.

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

You will have to Right-Click on the Model Name in the Browser Tree in order to get the option to "Save as STL". By selecting the Bodies folder, Fusion 360 is unsure as to which body you are trying to select to save as an STL file. If you only wanted to save a specific body as an stl, you would just Right-Click that body name. The below picture shows what to do!

The menu to save as STL is missing I know how to save as STL with no problem now for Years.

And if I open the *.F3D on another Computer it works simply fine the menu on the other computer is OK. I tried to uninstall and reinstall however the Menu to save to STL is missing.
If I save-as and select STL from the dropdown I can save the file to STL, and it Works OK

I opened another *.F3D to see if the problem was only the file however the same problem the save to *.STL is missing.

I tried to make another small *F3D just a box and extruded it and them tried to save as *.STL however the Save to STL is still missing.

So, what should?

Is there any file that you might have that will completely remove Fusion360 and then I can Reinstall a clean copy?

P.S. I am using the hobby copy only.

The command is still there, it has just been renamed.  It is now "Save as Mesh".  You also now can same as 3MF or STL format.  This of course is available if you are using the recent update 2.0.10440

I am having problems using the Offset command in sketch if I select for example a line and need to offset this say .01432 and after that I select the same line another .01432 Fusion will not allow this,

Error (One or more of the selected curves has already been offset. Consider offsetting the original profile again instead.)

I need to select the original same line and then do the math .01432+.0142 and now that works.

I know how to use the Pattern but is there any way to just select the line itself and off set that only.

No, think about it, Fusion 360 has to calculate the offset from the original line and then you are asking it to track the offset line and calculate from it, it is not going to happen.  Just use a little math and you can even type it in the offset dimension box (0.01432*2).

Next time you post a question, you should create a new thread.  Posting on top of an old thread is bad practice and often will not get your question answered.
