hi all, since 123d design is going away i am trying fusion which is above my pay grade atm.  i know how to in 123d import svg and then export it to stl file and it works really great.  i have figured out how to do in fusion as well but i am running into trouble with some files.

i try to right click to get the "save as an stl file" but i dont get that option all the time and or

i try use the make tab and send to printer to get the stl file but only part of the model gets highlighted

how do i select the entire file/body and then do a right click to "save as an stl file" why dont i always get that option?

thanks for the help.

This option appears only for solid bodies or mesh bodies.

For saving all solid bodies in single STL file you can right click on the topmost element (root component) in browser and save in from that menu.

Or, if your design is organized using components, each individual component also has the option to save all its bodies in single file.
