New to fusion 360

Hello everyone,

Thank you in advance for answering this, i just want to ask is it possible for me to make a pebble garden within a designated area with individual pebbles to fill up that area or i can only apply a texture to that area. under the 'Appearance' function. Furthermore, can i download existing 3d models/file of a tree or pebbles and can i import the file/model into fusion 360 to move the model around within my project?

Thank you kindly for your help and i apologize for the many questions

Of course you can use real models of stones if you accept the consequences for your system due to the amount of data generated. However, it makes sense to realize it with an appropriate texture.

Furthermore, can i download existing 3d models/file of a tree or pebbles and can i import the file/model into fusion 360 to move the model around within my project?

Search for such models in a file format applicable to your user account (e.g. STEP)

Hi,

Welcome to Fusion 360.

Feel free to ask many questions. That's why we are here to guide.

1. It will be so difficult for you if you model the stones individually. I think you should find a good image file of pebbles and create a custom appearance with that. It is easy. I've made a screencast for you.

2. You have to search such models in some online free cad gellary in a format of f3d, step, igs etc formats. Take a look at Autodesk Gallery. There you may find some models.
