I am creating a caliper for a display. It will be attached to a rotor that is 12'' in diameter. As you can see, it will not currently work with the design I have, as the highlighted faces must be edited to allow for the rotor to fit properly fit.
Perhaps creating this rotor as a separate component, and then assembling the two components in order to cut into the caliper would be easiest? I have tried myself but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have included an IGES file.
First a bit of advice, the first thing you should do in a design that's going to be an assembly is make a component and make your first part then make new components for each part and activate them when you work on the. Don't use Create Component from bodies if you can help it.

What @HughesTooling is referring to as in foirst creating a component is called Fusion360's R.U.L.E #1
Also, there are more conventient ways to creat screenshots than a camear.
On the Windows platform starting with Windows 7 you can use the "Snipping Tool"
On mac computers the key combination Shift-Command-4 provides you with a cursor that allows you to select any rectangular area on the screen and will save that screenshot to the desktop.
