Need help on simulation

Im trying to run a static stress simulation on the following.

Since the body is large I've considered one fourth of it and proceeding with the simulation.
Is it necessary to mesh before solving as I'm stuck on 76% and its been quite some time since then .

Now its showing the simulation cannot be stopped as the results are obtained and are being received. 
Any idea what I should do ? 
When I open the file, I dont see any result or anything.

I think you are trying to analyze too much at once.

I would idealize into much smaller portions of interest (and probably use a shell analysis tool rather than mesh tool).

Is shell analysis tool part of fusion 360 or is it like another software ? 
Also what if I try to scale down the model ? Will that help. Currently the model is 11770mm * 1620mm .

Will scaling down help ?
