My Data Panel Text is nothing but question marks

I hope I have posted this in the correct place.

I have only been using Fusion, with a personal, individual license, for a few months.

The details:

Fusion 2704.1.36 x86 (Native)

2019 MacBook Pro 15" (Intel chips)

MacOS 15.7.7

In general, Fusion has worked perfectly on my somewhat ancient Mac. The Mac has been fast enough for the smaller projects I have designed. However, I finished one project that has taken me a month, off and on, and went to start a new one, and then:

All the text characters in the Data Panel display as question marks in little boxes. I don't go to the Data Panel very often, so I can't say for certain when it started or if the recent update triggered the problem, but the Data Panel HAS displayed correctly at times in the last few months following the original installation.

ONLY the Data Panel is affected, everything else displays just fine and the design functionality appears normal to me.

I have tried:

1. Font Book reset

2. Fusion self-repair

3. Full un-install and re-installation of Fusion

None of these made any difference.

I can work around this problem, but I would like to get it fixed and Autodesk can't/won't help because of the personal license.

Any help towards a fix or suggestions for further diagnostic steps would be gratefully received. I have attached a screenshot that shows the problem.

Thank you in anticipation,

Ralph

Thank you for your reply.

As I said in my original post, I have tried:

1. Font Book reset (with Mac reboot)

2. Fusion self-repair

3. Full un-install and re-installation of Fusion

None of these made any difference.

I have been asked to post this as solved -but is not. The article to which I was pointed just said to reset the font system on my Mac. My original post said I had already done this and two other actions, none of which worked. Is there a different forum that might be able to help me? No other app on my Mac has any problems with my fonts, which are now reset to the basic Apple font set. Even Fusion only has a problem in the data panel, everywhere else the fonts work just fine. Looks like a Fusion bug in the Data Panel code to me, but then I have been writing code for only 60 years… Why is Autodesk not interested in solving this?

Have you solved this yet?  I have the same problem on a new MacBook.  Worked just fine before the updated version of Fusion 360.

No, I just learned which menu item was “Make Read Only” so I could keep below my 10 editable projects. It’s interesting that you experience this on a newish Mac. Mine is 2019, so I had resigned myself to living with it. AutoDesk brushed me off as I have just the free version, even though I wasn’t seeking help so much as posting a bug report. I was also hoping that someone sharper than I am would find a solution, or it would get fixed accidentally in one of Fusion’s future releases.
