Hi All.
I have what I think is a simple problem, I just dont know where im going wrong.
I have a frame that needs to support a cylindrical shell and spin it around. I want to be able to modify the height, width, front and back lengths of the frame so I can shuffle the wheels around and see where they work best.
I can get it to work no problem, but as soon as I change the parameters i put in, there is always something that goes wrong. I think there must be some "best practice" at doing this that im missing.
I have a feeling its to do with using projected geometry too much. But then how else do you use existing geometry to make your parts?
Like I said i think this is basic, but im missing it somewhere. Ive done this one several times with bodies, components, joints, mirrors, no mirrors etc.
The actual design itself doesnt really matter, its more the concept of how to approach this.
Last time i posted and someone helped me, i accidentally marked my own reply as the accepted solution and offended the person who helped me. I wont do that this time!
Any help much appreciated.
Kind Regards
James
