Multiple Components - how to move and align?

I created 2 components.

Question(s):

1. when viewing both components, can they be separated or moved apart from each other?

2. How do I jmove and align the 2 components?  In the attached file, the PCB sled needs to  slide into the PCB enclosure.  I would think i need to do this to make sure they fit together.

New to 3d Modeling, so not even sure I'm have approach this correctly.

When you place the PCB Sled into the assembly, the Pin to Parent was automatically activate.  Remove it to move component.

John thank you.

The PCB sled hole side goes on the outside. That hole is for a female stereo jack.  I'll manipulate to reverse the join  method.

Update:

Managed to inert the LCB sled corrdctly.  Took some time to understand how to rotate and get both aligned.  possibly unfamiliar with the process of aligning object.  MAybe easeier way top do  what i did, but end result got it to join both.

I'm really enthused how you address my questions, especially with the videos 👌. Great job from another retiree 🙏
