Help: How would you model the wing of this glider?

Hello,

I am in over my head trying to model the wing of a glider.  All I have is one single 2d side view. I have tried to use the forms and lofting between sketches using rail. I am not sure that this something that Fusion can do? Like I said.. I have wasted so much time trying to learn how to do this without any luck. Any help or guidance  would be appreciated.

The basic shape of wing can use the two projected curves(on bottom and left) to extrude two Surfaces,  and then use Surface2 to trim Surface 1. Refer to the attached picture.

Thanks Steven,

My problem is how to get outside edge of the wing to fold over at the trailing edge like the image of the side view shows, plus I don't know how to deal with all the scallops on the trailing edge the wing.

What is your background and experience with 3D modeling in CAD and Polygon/Sub-D ?

The geometry can be created in Fusions, but this isn't a beginner project and requires a good understanding of modeling concepts and tools. Even than,  some experimentation with tools and workflows is likely required.

I never done any freeform shapes in Fusion like what I am trying to do here. I will keep at it and hopefully get something that I like.

I see now that my post might be better off in the "Fusion Design, Validate & Document" category and not in this forum. Admin: can my post be moved?
