move component Bug... latest update

Using Mac version.

 

Start a new file.

Make a solid box in timeline mode.

Fillet one edge.

Make another box

Make component of the 2nd body.

Right click on the 'component' in browser, select 'move' and move the component.

Right click the fillet in the timeline and choose edit.

Change the fillet size and press OK.

 

The problem: the moved component moves back to it's orignal position.

Good catch, thanks!

 

When components are moved you are offered a "Snap Shot" in the timeline. This allows you to do position dependent modeling with components.

You have found a workflow where this warning is being bypassed. You should normally see this:

 

snapshot_warning_001.png
