Has any one created a model of an end mill?  Would you be willing to share the model for training purpose?

I haven't done an endmill as I don't have any reason to actually make one Smiley Happy  If I were to model one, I'd start by drawing a single tooth profile (looking at the end of the end mill). Next use a coil to generate a triangular or rectangular spiral. Project one edge of the coil to a new sketch to use in a sweep or loft operation. Once you have a single tooth, model the reliefs. Last step is to use a circular pattern to create the remaining teeth.

If you just want to use the endmill model to see where it's cutting, then you can use a cylinder.
