I wanted to share my solution for NPT threads. I am attaching two files. One is a NPT generator that has configurations. The data is from Wikipedia and I have not verified its accuracy against a machinists handbook. I use this often for 3-D printing where I just need a sample of the part before production. For female threads, I subtract the body. For male threads I attach the body to a pipe and push the hole through. When you import the file into a document, it asks you to choose a configuration. This sets the size.
The second file shows a simple use. I have left the sketch on the inserted file so that you can align the center precisely.
