Missing geometry when projecting body onto sketch.

Hi Absolute CAD noob here. I have created a body and am trying to project it's outline on a sketch, but for some reason it misses out part of the outline. Please can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Without to see the body it is impossible to help.

Repeatable here, no idea why, see if @Phil.E can look into it.

It depends on which edge you select.
Not all edges are at the same height.

Hi,

This is a result that occurs with complex and superimposed contours when using the ‘Body’ option.
In such cases, you can add missing parts with another projection and the ‘Elements’ option.
However, this may require some corrections.

I will try using the elements option instead of body. Thanks to all who replied.

Any update on this issue? projecting elements is not always a viable work around and in some cases I have had effectively 95% of bodies missing when using this project option.

I haven't heard anything, and it wasn't mentioned in the release notes for the latest release. It is very frustrating that a really useful feature seems to be broken in this way.

If you can provide a design file it will help the sketch team solve this issue.

Thanks. When it was said 95% of the body is missing from the sketch I thought it was a different issue. I don't think this looks like 95% missing. There are two curves left out of a dozen or more.

The 95% message was from someone else replying to my original post. Do you know if a fix for this is planned anytime soon?

Thanks

Colin

If you have an example, please post the model. Each case is a little different, so it helps to have more examples for the developers to work on.

(update: thanks @pavel_viktorin for the data, issue logged is FUS-190549)
