Mirror all the features in an object

I want to have left and right hand mailbox flags. Ideally I would mirror all the features but I can't seem to get this to work. How do I select all the features associated with the body?

If  I mirror just the body than I cannot edit and fix the backwards text.

Thanks!

make the flag first.  mirror body.  THEN extrude text.

When you say mirror all features, this means setting the object type in the mirror dialog box to "Features" and selecting the features from the timeline.

Now mirroring the whole body gives the same result (setting the object type to "Bodies"), but if you want to mirror  multiple specific features (not all features in the body), then setting the object type to "Features" is what you need.

As for the text, you'll have to extrude it alone for the mirrored body as @laughingcreek suggested, because trying to mirror a text as a concept is logically always gonna give this problem.

Mirroring the features doesn't seem to get the sketches. Is that correct?

No, sketches are not mirrored. This is standard for solid modelers because although in theory you could mirror a simple sketch it gets a lot more complicated with history and projected references.
