MidPoint Align two lines

I did look through the forum and various videos but I can't figure out if what I want to do is possible. If you look at the picture below - I would like line A to be centred on line B so the middle of Line A touches Line B BUT I don't want it to be in the middle of Line B if that makes sense.....  So the only thing that should happen is for Line A to move to the right without moving down. I'm then hoping that every time I change the length of Line A, it will move to adjust to the middle again.

I think the MidPoint align should be able to help but every combination of keystrokes I try: Line A moves down to the middle of Line B.

Hi,

coincident constraint > shift+hold & select midpoint (line A) > select line B
