Middle mouse button problem - intermittent

Recently my middle mouse button, which I use for PAN and Orbit, has become unreliable.
Ive owned the mouse 14 months and was about to buy another, when I tried another mouse I had spare.
Now I find it too needs the middle mouse pressed with fury to work.
I am suspecting the application is not responding properly to middle mouse button.
Anyone else having this problem with current Fusion360?

PS I know there are other posts on this but they are all old.

You can go to the quick setup option and toggle through all the different options shown such as New to Cad and TinkerCAD and a few others that I don't remember. But some of these options dont involve the middle mouse button or require another button to be pressed simultaneously such as shift or control.
