Meshing Error! Surface Interior

Issue: While I try to generate the mesh in simulation workspace, Fusion 360 gives an error that reads "Meshing Error! Phase: Surface Meshing. Description: Surface Interior." I have tried to play with the mesh setting with no success. The file is a STEP file provided by the manufacturer of the part. Here is the downloadable link: https://a360.co/2MaxngG

Here is a screenshot of the issue.

I have read the other thread referencing this issue but it does not seem to suggest any solution. If anyone has any fix or work-around, please let me know!

Thanks in advance!

I don't see the simulation in the linked file so I can't tell what your setup was.

But judging by the location of the mesh failure, it could be the small "ridges" or features that would require a very small element next to a very large element.  This could easily be fixed in the simplify workspace.

The other possibility is interference. I can't tell in the online viewer for sure, but it looks like there may be interference between the linear bearing and the rail.

What exactly are you trying to simulate?

EDIT:

I went ahead and downloaded the part to duplicate the failure. Your mesh was too coarse...see the video below for a quick resolution:

Thank you! That "Mesh Size per Part" option was the key. Much appreciated.
