ok so I have a OBJ file of a alligator, I bring the file into mesh work space I reduce the file down to 10000 faces where fusion is happy with it then I convert it to brep, heres the problem, My brep model with the triagles has a lot of corners with this profile of the alligator, so I have tried smoothing and several tools with fusion 360, I lose to much detail when trying to clean up the model when converted to brep, I make molds all I really need to do is cut the 3d model from a cube sold so I have a pocket of the alligator profile in a square cube, when I do this I have triangles in the cube so cam tries to machine triagles and I don't have a smoothe profile of machining, is there anyway to cut a mesh from a solid or am I missing something, I have tried this 10 different ways in fusion watched several videos and tutorial I am racking my brain it is such a simple one thing I want to do with this model but cant loose so much detail,as I said I have converted to brep tried reducing the face count density ect, please help
