Difficulty creating Metal Sheet with bends exceeding 180°

Hi all,

I am a beginner with CAD designs and am currently looking into the Metal Sheet feature of Fusion 360. After following some tutorials, I set myself the task to design a simple money clip. I have issues creating a bend in the metal that is equal to or more than 180°. For instance, I am not able to bend the metal sheet into a perfect U-shape.

Here is a side view of the particular design I have in mind. The bend radius on the right side is supposed to be 2 mm. The best I can get is a "V"-like shape with an angle of 175°.

Material is stainless steel of 0.5 mm thickness. Any help or pointers in the right direction are much appreciated.

Indeed, sorry for the typo! Bend radius is supposed to be around 8 mm. Regardless of exact value, how would I go about creating a bend that leads to both ends of the sheet converging like in the drawing? Thanks.

Here's an attempt using a sheet metal component not quite right but should give you an idea how to get what you want. Just draw your profile and extrude using a sheet metal flange.

Thanks! I completely missed the profile option and always tried to create a 180° flange on an existing edge of my metal sheet
