measure length of a spline segment?

Is there a way to measure the length of a segment of a spline? "Measure" only gives the shortest (straight line) distance between points. I'd like to get the linear length of the spline itself. I can get the total length by selecting it  (length shows up lower right in the window), but that doesn't help as I need to work with just a segment and know its length.

Hi @bandhuA2A5Y

How about if you split the spline? (Draws lines that cross the spline at the ends of the segment, then "Sketch > Break") It is similar in concept to measuring the length of a "portion" of a line. You can only measure the whole length, so the line (or spline) in your case needs to be as long as the portion that you want to measure.

Alternatively, you might be able to draw a new spline on top of the segment that you want to measure, and then measure the length of the new spline.
