Making a wing nut

Thanks in advance for any help.  I have done some design but having troubles with this one.  I want to replicate a wing nut per the image. I first sketched a cylinder then extrude it the  on the side made using a circle and lines to get the shape.  I can't seem to join the lines to get an object I can extrude. On the right I somehow managed to extrude it but now I can't select it to move it closer to the centre cylinder so they merge from the .IMG_4371.jpega513d7a6-70b9-4bce-9df3-3c475d37bea8.jpgtop to become one part.  I also want to do the same on the left side.

Extrude the face of the "wing" nearest to the cylinder into the cylinder with the cylinder body turned off. Mirror the "wing" body using the origin ZY plane that hopefully is at the center of the cylinder. Turn cylinder back on. Combine all 3 bodies.  Fillet as desired.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Your circle is in the wrong position and missing two lines.

Once you have attached your attempt we can walk through the process.

Thanks so much.  Also I don't need a hole in it as I will drill one. I am going off line tonight but will be back tomorrow. Thanks cq

Thank you so so much for taking your time to help me with this.  I have only dabbled with fusion at this point and pushed my way through some simple designs.  Watching this video will help me greatly in learning a lot more and finishing this design.  I will need to take some online courses/watch some videos and practice more to learn.  cq
