I'm making a panel for a building exterior. Each floor can have differing fascia detail.

Newbie!

I keep getting hosed up trying to stack detail on a layer because I don't understand if I'm sketching the origin plan, having to offset to the level I want, or if I can select a face as the plane I want to sketch on.

This personal confusion has caused Fs360 to just lock up beeping at me several times.  After restarting I just try another path but that plane question is driving me nuts.

To keep each floor fascia as a separate component, I  make a 0.1" base, attempt to build everything on that ...thinking that then they can be combined into a selection set so I can swap out fascia's as desired.20230116_Murk-panel.JPG

Hi,

please attach the file as f3d to your post and do not reference an external source.
If the construction contains linked elements remove them temporarily for local saving as f3d.

File > export > save as f3d on local device > attach to next post.
