making a helmet hook

I'm new to this and I am trying to make a helmet hook to mount to my rollbar. I built the hook, but now I need to split part of it during the print so it can be put around the bar. can someone point a newbie in the right direction. I couldn't find anything pre drawn to learn from so I;m working from scratch

Split with a line (or surface - but not through both sides).

Did you intend for your slot line to not be tangent to the arc on one side?

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Yeah I'm learning to do that. I think I have it figured out. I'm gonna try and print it to see if it comes out. Thanks for looking
