Main menu bar disappeared

I opened up Fusion last night to do a bit of work, but the entire main menu at the top of the application is missing, as is the file manager window to access the files in the cloud. I have not been able to figure out how to bring those things back. I removed and reinstalled the software, but the result is still the same. I can't even say for sure if I'm logged in or not, as thats not showing either. I've tried all the "F" keys and all the ctrl-"key" combinations, with only a couple responding at all, but not to help this situation. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

-Mike

LS,

I'm having the same problems with 2 PC's running Windows; the one is a desktop, the other a laptop. The desktop does not cause problems, but when I login with the laptop, the top menu bar is invisible (hovering the mouse over where the icons should be, a descriptor is also displayed) and moreover the history timeline does not appear too.

The timrawlings7 solution - keeping logged in, but shut down the laptop and next login and restart Fusion – solves the problem rather fast but is not at all user friendly. Up till to now this problem has caused me a lot of waste time for about some weeks, because - for me - the laptop is indispensible for instruction use.

This issue is driving me bonkers. The menu bar is completely gone. I can see the buttons when I hover over the area with my mouse, but the icons are just not visually there. I've tried all of the solutions in this thread with no luck. Closing and restarting doesn't do anything. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. I even did a manual uninstall to make sure everything was removed. I even went as far as restoring my PC to an old restore point. The only work around I have found is to have about 30 commands pinned to shortcuts.

Hi,

Don't know if this will be of any use but I had a similar experience with
Fusion displaying the splash screen constantly - turned out my display
drivers had become corrupted - deleted and reinstalled with reboot and all
OK again.

Hope this may be of help but it sounds like you may have covered it anyway.

Just reinstalled the graphic drives but that didn't change anything. Went ahead and did another reinstall of Fusion but this time I manually deleted all the local and roaming app data and still can't get it to display. Is there a source for previous versions of Fusion? Maybe the latest version is buggy.

Yesterday everything with Fusion was fine. This morning, exactly the same hidden main menu problem described here except mine is blacked-out rather than whited-out (see below). As herein, I have tried all the suggested solutions and nothing has solved the problems. I have limped along (got classes to teach) by hovering the cursor until I hit the right box. Help, please!?!

I'm having the same black-out issue as shown in the post by @Anonymous .  None of the solutions listed here work.  Definitely seems like it happened yesterday or the day before with a new version release.

Hi,

I had a similar experience and solved my problem with reloading the
Graphics Drivers as Windows had just performed an update but upset the
Driver.
Hope this helps

Which drivers? Windows or Autodesk? All 3 of my secondary monitors and my laptop monitor itself show the same image. As far as I know my machines have not been updated, though I will inquire with IT. I rebuilt Fusion from scratch and nothing changed.

@g-andresen Thank you! Found it: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Too...

Best of all, it can be done at the user-level environmental variable, so my students won't need to bring their machines in so that IT can enter the admin mode. Instructions:

That environment variable fix seems to have worked!   Thank you a ton!  Not sure why this happened all of a sudden though, even after updating my graphics drivers/laptop firmware/etc, it was still not functioning.   I looked and there were no updates installed over the last couple days.  Super weird.

Either way, I'm back up and designing!  Thanks!
