MacBook Pro 2011 touchpad scroll issue on timeline

Hi all,

My MacBook Pro, 2011, works well with Fusion 360 except for one strange bug, I think, that has to do with the touchpad and the timeline.

When I scroll the timeline all the way to the right extent, then try to select a feature by tapping once to select that feature, the timeline slider marches a step to the left, making a situation where sometimes selecting or even right-clicking becomes unusable. I understand that I might have some setting enabled that causes this odd behavior. But, this has been so for a few weeks, and is repeatable on my computer. Using a mouse solves this issue when sitting at a desk, but not when mobile (deskless).

thanks.

Hi @tkuechle,

Thanks for posting! I do believe this is a known gesture issue with the Mac trackpad and the development team is currently working on fixing on it. Check out this post here for more information where Phil posts some useful tips for getting the timeline scroll to work successfully with the trackpad. Let me know if you run into any issues or notice any discrepancies..

Thanks!

@tkuechle

This bug is fixed in the latest update that was released last night. If you are on the Mac Appstore version it may be a day or two before the update is released there.

If you think you are updated, and still seeing the bug, please check ?Help > About for your build number. If it says 2.0.2604 and you still see this problem, please let us know.

Thanks,
