Lost all of my components in a design

I had a design I was working on and tried the Fusion way of designing in the assembly.   What a mistake!  I wanted to animate the assembly so I went to the animation tab.   It crashed Fusion.  At the bottom right it said the file was corrupt and then crashed.  I tried reoppening the file and it opens but I can't export any of the components or go to any of the other modules.

Now I have to start over.  This time I will start a new project folder and create the indiviual parts and sub-assemblies as individual files.  And build my assembly by importing the parts.

I had about 50 individual parts I now have to re-create.   Bad form on Fusions part!!!!

Sorry to hear that this happened to you. Have you tried promoting a previous version of the design see if it can open?

As far as I know I only have the one version unless you tell me I get an updated version everytime I save.  If so where do I find the earlier versions.

This was posted by @HughesTooling on another thread, but you can see your versions like this:

Click on the promote icon to bump that version up to the latest and see if you can open it.

Is there a tutorial about saving your work?   Or how do I make sure I have versions as in the picture you posted?

I had 15 versions of the file.  None of them would open in animation.  They all said in the bottom right that the file is corrupt.

I note that you can also review the versions in the Item Details in the A360 browser.

Do you see any thumbnails next to any versions?

Could you forward the Diagnostic Log files to Nathan.Chandler@Autodesk.com so that we can investigate further?
