Logo help?

I am trying to import a logo onto a sketch. I am only able to import it as a decal or as a canvass. My question is that if I import the logo as a decal how do I transform it into something that I can work with. I would like to engrave it onto a part and right now I can only move its location.

thanks

Hello,

If you want to create your logo as a feature (extrude) then you need to use SVG or DXF file with your logo. Decal and Attached Canvas commands insert an image only.

To add, there are online sites that allow you to upload image files and turn them into SVG files very quickly, with no work on your part.  Just google "Image to SVG".  You can then import that SVG and it will become a sketch shape that you can extrude or use to 'engrave' into objects using the combine command with a parameter of 'cut' instead of 'join'.
