LOFT DOESN'T LOOK RIGHT

I'm doing a LOFT which I think should be fairly simple. In fact I've done a number of LOFTs similar to this and they've all ended up looking exactly like I expect. Going from Profile to a very similar profile. I kind of expect it to look like a loaf of bread.

But part of it ends up warped.

What might I be doing wrong? What might be wrong with the profiles?
I even tried doing the LOFT in the other direction and get the same warping of the created object.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Basics - without the file.

Loft wants to shrink-wrap any resultant faces that are not planar or conic.

Your warping is a great example of the attempt to shorten the distance between profile segments.

The crease is a current location of the internal mapping handle.

Research mapping handles,

in the old days they were used to create internal rails aligning them one at a time we could pull the handle end points along the profile and straighten the warp.  Now a days, they are not obvious - click drag a white point on the profile, it should highlight it's mate on the other profile with a red highlight line.  Adjusting the position of the white points may help with alignment and therefore pull the warping out.  These handles are not allowed to cross each other (important).

Much quicker to draw your own rails.

While not evident in the actual profiles, the outer profiles with thousands of projected segments will do the algorithms head in.

Symmetric models are better handled with simple sketches and body mirror.  This Loft has no rails.

As @davebYYPCU says, this is almost certainly a point mapping problem.  Loft has to map points from one profile onto the next, and sometimes the initial mapping guess can be wrong.  You can edit the point mapping in the command, by dragging the white dots in the preview, but sometimes the best approach is just to add a single rail curve.  That is often enough to fix the loft.  Sharing the file will help us help you.  Thanks.  We also have a project coming soon that will help improve this default point mapping for Loft.  It will be interesting to see what the new algorithm does with your case, so if you share it, I can give it a try.  Thanks.

Hi! I am wondering if Non-Uniform Scale can help this case. Please share the f3d file. I would like to explore other modeling techniques.

Many thanks!
