How to deconstruct a component

I created a parent component by dragging in two existing components.  It's not working the way I planned, so I'd like to deconstruct the parent into the two original components, but I can't figure out how.  Fusion won't let me drag them out, and there's no Promote command.  Is there a way to do this?

Please attach your model.  Without it the Forum cannot determine the TYPE of assembly you have.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it. If needed, ZIP a F3Z file.

Thanks for your reply.  Here's the file.  I know attaching one is the norm.  I just thought this could be answered without making someone pore over my design.  Anyway, the components in question are Compartment 2:1 (the parent), Lid(1):1, and Box(1):1, at the bottom of the tree.

Huh.  When I tried moving them before, nothing would happen.  I wasn't moving them all the way up to Keyboard drawer, though, so maybe that was the problem.  Thanks!

The other way to do this is:  any restructure operation will create a timeline feature.  Find and delete the timeline features that first put Lid and Box underneath Component 2:
