Length issue with McMaster-Cart parts

If I choose thread rods from McMaster-Cart catalogue and add to my drawing they all have same length if his original drawing have "broken line" for represent long size on this part.

few screenshot shows that diameter is different  and length had to be different too (2 f. and 1 f.) but in the drawing they have the same size.

That's an issue with how McMaster saves their 3D models, not with how Fusion imports them.

For threaded rods like that though, you can easily model those from scratch to the length you want, and then create modeled or cosmetic threads in Fusion.

Thanks, yes we can make easily  in Fusion A360 any tread on the rod directly from the menu, and obviously  this issue happens only with the long part from McMaster catalogue during export in to the Fusion... but I want that one day this feature works correctly Cat Wink

I believe this is a McMaster-Carr issue. I am assuming that the part entered into their database is wrong in this particular case. I import correct parts from them routinely.

I've never done it, but maybe they would like to know when a dimension is
wrong.

ok thanks, I'll try to find a way to bring them this idea, maybe it's something wrong  in their API...
