Hey so I'm trying to select the faces that make up the knurling on a screw knob. I'm not trying to select every single face that makes up the body, just the faces fully enclosed by my bounding box.

According to this help article:

"Window: Click and drag from left to right to select objects that are entirely enclosed by the selection boundary."

So I've elected to drag left > right rather than right > left with my mouse completely encapsulating only the faces I want to delete and not fully encapsulating any of the faces I do not want to delete like so:

I will of course need to unselect at least one of the curved diamond faces to avoid Fusion not having enough info and deleting the entire body. But if I understand the help article, my selection should look like this:

Not this:

As shown in the below video the only faces entirely enclosed by my selection are the faces that make up the knurling portion.

- Time Magazine’s Person of the Year 2006
- Apple M1 Max rMBP A2485 // Latest MacOS // Latest Fusion
- Usually working off files uploaded to Fusion as: Step, STL, SLDPRT. If it matters ask me.

did you try setting your selection filter to faces?

Although @matthewrjacobs suggestion works there is some inconsistency here.

I can window select most of the faces OK but as soon as you get all the faces inside the chamfers Fusion selects the whole body.

I can select this for example.

Or this

and this.

But as soon as you select all the surfaces between the faces Fusion select the body!?
