Hi all,
This semester I teach my Industrial Design course at Wayne State University and I provide all my lectures online in Youtube as recordings after the class.
If somebody is new to product design or Fusion 360 in general this might a nice watch.
In this course I teach two applications Blender 3D and Fusion 360 in a workflow where Blender is being used for concept modeling as well as creating complex organic shapes and in Fusion 360 we will continue working on the CAD data generated in Blender with Fusion fantastic CAD tools or generate a new design from scratch right in Fusion 360. I always found the combo of both applications being a dream selection.
I start traditionally this course in Blender because it is harder to learn and include Fusion 360 in each project.
This course will cover direct modeling and generative modeling Blender, reusing existing OBJ cad data from Blender for Base Features and T-Splines, 2D sketching and parametric modeling components and drawings in Fusion 360 and professional product renderings and animations with Cycles.
This will bring you up to speed learning a pretty powerful and diverse modeling toolset where for each task you can select the right tool.
Over the course of the semester more videos will be uploaded.
Enjoy!
