Latest update... Moving components between assembly groups is broken

In the past, you were able to select a component or multi-select a few components and move them into an assembly group.  This functionality is either broken or no longer supported.  Does anyone know which?

Neither, actually.  This functionality has not changed recently.  However, whether you can do this or not will depend on the relationships that exist between your components and other components in the design.  If you have references to sketches in other components, for instance, this restructure can be blocked.  It is very design-dependent.
