Laser cutting DXF circles

Hi,

I am having trouble with my new laser machine cutting circles from DXF files exported from Fusion. All other shapes cut fine (including ellipses); just not circles. The process I am following is...

  1. Sketch drawn in Fusion.
  2. Exported as a DXF file
  3. Opened in Adobe Illustrator CC
  4. Processed (stroke width and colour) and then sent to laser. Circles are the only shape that will not cut.

I'd like to 'pin down' whether or not it is an issue with Fusion/DXF files that have some work around or an issue with the way Illustrator CC or the Laser software has with handling circles imported in DXF format.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Chris

Why ?

My system cuts all Fusion items, that I have thrown at it, but does not cut Autocad "Blocks", unless exploded.

I am taking the dxf directly to the machine.

Might not be Fusion.
