Embossing Bodies

Hello,

I am trying to get the wall of a hollow body (tube) to take the shape of an intersecting body (sphere) in order to apply a dimple in the wall. In NX it is called "Emboss Body". If there is an equivalent using Fusion 360 or if there is a more convenient way to apply a dimple on a tube, can someone please let me know?

The only thing I can find in Fusion 360 is how to make a cut out of the tube when revolving the sphere.

Thank you

There's actually a few ways to do this. The simplest method I've found is to combine solid geometry and then extract the faces. See attached example. (If you have existing hollow geometry you can use the thicken command first to utilize this method)
