Joint origin

First I have to say that I love F360. Like the workflow and support. Support is great.

So, problem I have no solution for is how to make joints origins invisible. I have no idea whay the are there (around green connectors) and not around other one. Did joints same way, but it looks like I can not remove them to become invisible. Any solution?

It would perhaps easier if you could share your design it would make it a lot easier to explain.

Almost every object I can think of in Fusion 360 is represented in the Browser and can be shown/hidden.

As I said, I didn't look deep enough. I found the solution. It was in front of my nose, I didn't notice it. 🙂

No problem.

Looking at what you've got so far in your design, my suggestion would be to break the links to these imported component right after insertion, before saving the design.

It makes no sense to keep the links intact for standard purchased off the-shelf components that are not going to be modified.

A current limitation is :

You insert these components while keeping the link intact and then save the design, say at revision 2. Then at revision 4 you decide you don't need component A anymore, because component B is what you want, so you delete component A form your design, but you only deleted it from revision 4. It is still present in Revision 2, when you first inserted it.

Now you can't delete it from the data panel either because Fusion360 will currently prevent you from doing it as its still part of the design, albeit an earlier version.

There's a workaround for it, but it's better to prevent the situation altogether. In the future this limitation will be removed.
