Joint keeps undoing itself; editing w/o doing anything puts it back

The blast gate keeps wandering away from its position.

What do I need to do to make it stay put?

That is difficult to say without being able to see how the rest of the assembly is joined.

I'd be happy to, but .f3d isn't available with file/export, even after I broke all of the links.

You can share a link to your design, which will allow us to download it. This includes assemblies with linked components. However, keep in mingd that having to download a design with linked components is a bit of a PITA and results in a lot of clean up work, so limiting the amount of linked componets is nice 😉

To find the link, locate your design in the data panned and click on the little info button in the lower right corner of the design icon.

Then select "Show details on web"

In the upper right corner of the web site - your design on your A360 hub - you'll find a share button that allows you to copy a link that you can paste into your next post.

The joint is top blst gt-cyc2, 7th from the last.

fyi, when I saved it the part was properly positioned, but when I closed and reopened the file, it was not, which will hopefully be the case for you.

I would like to know how to save an .f3d file locally to have as backup.

Also, how do you delete old versions?

I save several times a day and it seems wasteful to burden the servers unnecessarily.

Just noticed that another joint, ft blst gt-wye (4th one up from top blst gt-cyc2) is doing the same thing.

Half of those are from work I've done after the problem started, and besides, why would a simple rigid joint between two components be affected by problems with components neither of them have relationships with?
