Issues in Fusion 360

Dear Sir,

Thanks a lot for sharing the video & clearing some our doubts. But still there are some in the video itself & same are listed under.

  1. In the assembly of trolley shown in the video, are the wheels made in same file or imported in the assembly? -Which is not shown in the video.
  2. In the assembly of trolley in drafting mode, can the components of the assembly be separately detailed?
  3. The sketch constrain issue has not been solved even after giving all the dimensions irrespective of starting the sketch from the origin. Is there any option for ‘Auto Constrain’? How can one confirm whether the sketch is fully constrained? Hereby a sketch is attached for your reference.
  4. In extrude feature, dimensions like -d5 is used. We are unable to use the same parameter. Is there any legendary for the same?
  5. Appearance given to the component is not shown as in video.
  6. In the video, an incomplete assembly of crank shaft is been shared. Can you send a video which shows full assembly so as to understand the assembly correctly & completely?

Other than video:

  • In drafting, how is the editing of BOM (Bill of Material) & Title Block done as per our requirement?
  • In assembly, how a tangential joint is done? E.g. A circular face (wheel) to a plane surface.
  • Can we import a pre made title block from auto cad drawing or DWG file?
  • Please update Sheet metal ASAP.

Have you enabled constraint status in your preferences?

Here's some info on inserting a custom title block. If you don't have AutoCAD you can use QCad. Custom title blocks don't auto populate like the standard ones do.

There isn't a tangent joint. There is an idea on the idea station HERE Please vote.

Take a look through this thread for a possible workaround.

Here's the screencast from that thread.
