I'm working on a multi-component drawing and I need to show one component as Phantom/Transparent for reference purposes in a view.  Is there a way to do that in drawing environment?

Hi @cad_munkie,

Thanks for your post and your question.

As I understand from your comments you are interested How to Identified Copied component linked or not.

If you check Coped component only get linked when you do Copy-Paste But If you Do Copy-Paste-New operation then only it get linked with parent. In Browser you can't differentiate between this.

But in Time line you can check While Doing Copy-Pate it show Copy-Paste Feature in time line

and If you do Copy-Paste-new it will show New Component feature with that respective body feature in time line.

Check attached screen cast https://autode.sk/2yCNUnO

Please let me know If need any other information.

Thanks,

Sagar
