Is there a measurement that gives me the volume of a body?

Is there a function somewhere that will give me the volume of a body?

Betty,

From the Browser Tree, #Right Click on the Component or Body and select the #Properties from the pop-up menu.  That will give you the volume.

Thanks for the reply.   That does the trick.

It's interesting that the volume from fustion is always a bit higher than the material volume calculated by shapeways.com, which is the 3D printing service I use.   It will do for comparison purposes between fusion models.

Hi Betty - the calculation done by Fusion is on the Brep (smooth, accurate surfaces) whereas the model uploaded to Shapeways is a mesh (non-smooth, approximated polygons) so the volume calculation between these two types of models is always going to be different *.

I'm working with the same issue, however, when using the properties window, the volume comes up as 0.00.  I've tried pulling up the properties when it was just a body, then tried making the body a component, same thing, 0.00 volume.

What am I missing here?

The best way is to share the model and include pictures of exactly what you're seeing (and what you're trying to achieve if you're trying to get a certain shape).

Is there way to get multiple bodies volume at once? I tried selecting all bodies and right click on one of them then Properties, but it gives the Volume only of that Body.

Create a component, put the bodies in it and read the volume of the component.
