HI I am trying to create a logo with text like the image attached.

I would like to know if Fusion can have text follow a curve?

I would like to create text specifically the words ALLEY and SALON in the picture

Thank you in advance,

Randy Kopf

No, but with such few letters, you can create a individual body for each letter and then place that manually around a circle.

I believe, however, I've read in some thread that "test on a path" is on the roadmap.

Hi Randy,

The easiest way is the function "text at path" in inkscape.

First you create a text and a path in the right size.

With the function „text to path“ you align the text.

Lastly you separate the aligned text from the path (object to path).

And save as svg for import to fusion.

good succeed

Not to cross advertise but instead of Inksacpe you can also use Gravit Designer.

It is web based and desktopn (MAC WIN LINUX) and I found it a pretty amazing replacement for Inksape

Whilst looking for a similar solution I couldn't help but notice your design for "Alley Salon" - I don't know whether it is for personal use or public display, if the latter you may well find TfL lawyers admiring it. They are obsessively protective of the roundel device, I will say no more!

Hi,

This is much easier with gravit designer (note from cekuhnen)

Here you see, how it works.

At the end you have to export the file as svg.

In Fusion, the contour appears in green (fixed) > unfix it > blue lines.

have fun trying
