Hello!

I have tried to look online but did not find anyone else complaning about it, so I am afraid for some reason I am the only one.

Since a week I can not open the McMaster cart. I have attached a picture to show what I see.

Any thoughts?

Thank you.

Best,

Alessio

Just something to try, go to your Preferences and switch to the OpenGL setting.  Fusion 360 will have to restart so please make sure you have saved any files you have open.

I have tried on Mac and it does work. So for the moment it is confined to my Windows laptop. I should try with the tower pc that is Windows too. Not sure what could be the problem if it is the pc.

So actually also Insert > Insert TraceParts Supplier Components is not working. It shows the same empty window as Insert McMaster carr. They do have the same layout window so probably they are not working for the same reason.

I have so many bolts to add! 🙂

Works OK for me on Windows. When you did the uninstall did you use the clean uninstall tool? not sure it will make a difference but it does remove all Fusion info.

There's not a sign in dialog hidden behind the window is there? Do you have any problems viewing your hub in a browser?

No, there is anything hidden behind it 😞 Usually that is the point where you have the first log in with username and password.

Yes I can see all my projects online without any problem.

I guess try the clean uninstall again but after uninstall reboot your PC before the reinstall. Might also be worth rebooting your router as well.

Edit. After rebooting your computer make sure Windows is up to date before reinstalling Fusion. There was someone the other day with problems and Windows had an update pending.

Questions, but why delete only part of the left over folders? Would not be better to just raise everything so it's a real clean unistall? At the end everything it's saved in the cloud.

Doesn't the Clean Uninstall Tool remove everything? There is a link to a manual clean uninstall on the clean uninstall tool page.

Also are you running as an Admin? Might be worth running the install and first run of Fusion as an Administrator.

I could not get the clean unistall tool from the link you posted. I do not get the dowload. So I went for the manual route https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How...

It tells you to delete specific folders but I do not get it why. I guess to leave some local files you might need in future but then it's not a real clean unistall. Well I guess the guys at Autodesk know their stuff 😉

Windows is doing a massive update so must be that. I wiil report back when I reinstall Fusion again after rebooting the pc. Thanks a lot

Nothing. Windows is now completely updated. I unistalled Fusion again like 3 times, and removed all the possible folders connect to it. Reboot. Once I reinstall Fusion I still have the same problem. Empty window like before.

I was wondering. Is it possible to open a assistance ticket so that I get the attention of someone from Autodesk?

Really appreciate your help

I glance through you posts and I feel it is time to bite the bullet.  I would create a new Windows profile, give it administrator rights, turn off UAC (User Access Control) temporarily, turn off Anti-Virus temporarily, disable your firewall temporarily, REBOOT YOUR SYSTEM and install, as instructed before by running the installation by right clicking and choosing "Run as Administrator".  I hate to see you have to create a new profile since it really clutters up a system but there is obviously something wrong with your current one.  Take great care in being methodical in the steps above and make sure you follow them all.

ok will try that. Will be a real pain if I need to use a new profile everytime for Fusion.

I am running all the programs as administrator so do not think that is the problem.
