Iridescent metal material

Hi!

I wonder if I can create iridescent metal material in fusion 360. The color shade in such material bases on angle falloff (different shade on different angles).

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

@BartsGarage Currently no. This type of material is more complex than what most default materials in render engines offer.

You deal with flakes and the angle based color change.

bumping this as we are looking at using some iridescent thin films in our product and would love to render it.

@Anonymous & @BartsGarage,

May I suggest one you enter this request in the IdeaStation?  It could bump up the priority for getting this material in the library.

Thanks

The material request is now in Fusion 360 IdeaStation: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/ideastation-request-a-feature-or/angle-falloff-material/idi-p/6629012 and can be voted from there.
